Add Roboro Events to Your Calendar

In this article:

Why Add Roboro Events to Your Calendar?

Calendar Sync lets you automatically add Roboro legislative events – such as floor sessions, committee meetings, and press conferences – directly into your own calendar. This helps ensure you never miss an event, even when schedules shift.

Once added, your subscribed calendar will stay up to date as Roboro updates event times and locations based on the legislature's website.

  1. Go to the Calendar tab in Roboro and click on the Calendar Sync link.

  1. Select Generate Calendar Link to create your unique ICS URL.

  1. Copy and paste this link into your external calendar provider to add all Roboro events for your active state(s).

If you ever need to stop syncing, select Disable Calendar Sync. This will stop calendar events from your external calendar (but will not affect anything inside Roboro).

To resume syncing, simply follow the steps to generate a new calendar link and add it to your external calendar provider.

Below are instructions for most common calendar platforms. To ensure that these events stay up to date as changes are made, be sure to add the ICS link as a subscribed calendar, rather than a one-time download.

Important Note for Mac Users

⚠️ New Outlook for Mac does NOT support adding an ICS subscription. If you try and add the link using the desktop app, it will likely download a one-time .ics file, which will not stay synced with Roboro.

We highly recommend using Outlook Web instead. The subscribed calendar will then sync to Outlook on your Mac.

Platform Steps
Outlook / Office 365

Note: Outlook Web fully supports ICS subscriptions for both Mac and Windows users.

  1. Open Outlook Web in your browser and click Add calendar.
  2. Select Subscribe from web.
  3. Paste your Roboro ICS link.
  4. Name the calendar (e.g., "Roboro Legislative Events") and make any customizations.
  5. Click Import.
Google Calendar
  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left, next to Other calendars, click +.
  3. Choose From URL.
  4. Paste your Roboro ICS link.
  5. Click Add Calendar.

It will appear under "Other calendars" and update automatically.

Apple Calendar (Mac)
  1. Open Calendar.
  2. Go to File -> New Calendar Subscription.
  3. Paste the Roboro ICS link.
  4. Click Subscribe.

This calendar will sync across all Apple devices using the same Apple ID.

Phone Calendars (iOS & Android) Most phone calendar apps rely on the subscription being added through Google Calendar, iCloud, or Outlook Web. Once added there, it will sync automatically to your phone.
