What is a Calendar Event?

Roboro's calendar events include floor sessions, committee meetings, and press conferences. These are pulled directly from the legislature's official calendar and kept up to date as changes occur.
Click "View Session" to see more details about the specific event. On the specific event page, you will see the time and location of the event, along with any applicable bills and agenda items up for discussion.

Agenda Items
At the top of each event page, you'll see a list of agenda items— the bills scheduled for discussion. You can view the bills status, votes, and outcomes (e.g., whether it passed, failed, or was overridden). Click on a bill name (shown in purple) to go directly to its Roboro bill page.
Agenda items update as the legislature makes changes, so you'll always see the latest version.
Audio and Transcripts
Roboro provides live audio recordings and AI-generated transcripts and summaries so you can follow along in real-time, catch up quickly, and revisit key discussions.
Key features include:
- Searchable transcripts - Use Ctrl+F to find specific names, topics, or phrases.
- Transcript summaries - Summaries are automatically generated from events with a transcript, giving you a clear overview at the top of the page.
- Click-to-play - Click on a paragraph in the transcript, and the audio will start playing from that point.
- Downloadable audio files - Click on the link button to download the full audio file to your computer, for offline listening or for sharing.

Notifications for Calendar Events
You can set up notifications for calendar events so you never miss an update
By default, you are set up to receive email alerts for all tracked bills immediately after a new/updated calendar event.
If you'd like to customize these alerts (ex. changing the timing, method of delivery, or which clients/issues they apply to), you can adjust your settings in the Notifications section of Roboro.
